A Legacy of Service

History

The Chesterland Rotary was founded in 1990.  More to come.

Please keep Box Wilcox of the Burton-Middlefield in your prayers as he struggles with health issues.  Ben Pintabona wrote the following about Bob:

"For those of us who were “present at the creation” Bob was instrumental in getting Chesterland Rotary started. Bob and one other Burton-Middlefield member helped us get chartered, guided us through the new club formation process, “gave” us part of their territory and, here’s a biggie, “gave” us what is now our reverse raffle. Their club started the reverse raffle to fulfill what I believe was their Polio Plus obligation and offered to work the next party with us and then let us take it over from there, making it our own. For those of us that were around, that was at the EOUV hall and it became and remains our most dependable fundraiser. Many of us Chesterland Rotarians call Bob “Dad” when he visits our club because of how instrumental he was to our club. We should all remember him in our prayers."

The Four-Way Test

"Of the things we think, say or do:
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?"

As Rotarian, we try to live by the Four Way Test.
